Adult Neuropsychological Evaluations

An adult neuropsychological evaluation is intended to evaluate brain function including cognitive abilities such as memory, behavior, daily living skills, and psychological function including identifying patterns of strength and weakness used to clarify diagnoses and make recommendations for treatment, care planning, and to enhance quality of life. 

 Diagnostic psychological assessments are available at Psychological Solutions of Lake Norman, PLLC for children, adolescents, and adults.  For adults, psychological evaluations assess for emotional difficulties (e.g., anxiety and mood difficulties), attentional impairment (e.g., ADHD evaluations for adults 26 and younger), and learning challenges.

Most insurance companies and surgical weight loss centers require Pre-Surgical psychological screening prior to undergoing surgical procedures.  These evaluations seek to minimize risk factors and prepare patients for positive post-surgical adjustment. Click to learn more.
